Parking sercices has way too much power. They act like they are god. I work for athletics and have a pass that allows me to park as staff. Yet while at work i am constantly being harrassed by them. The best place to park for me is the south end of the endzone. It is close to Loyd Ricks and Dorman. The worst is Garrner hall
when you can find a space. Parking Services constantly tries to tickit me there.

Thanksgiving!
I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving break as much as I did! I have a some what large family on my dads side and we all get together at our house. We had 4 smoked turkeys, dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, rolls and much more. I defiantly ate too much. We went to my sisters Friday who hosted my moms side of the family ( which is much smaller). My brother in law and I fried a turkey while all the ladies made numerous other dishes and pies, like pumpkin ( my favorite). This was a much need break form school and it was great to visit with all the family!

HotLanta
The first week of August I went to a conference for my fraternity, in Columbus, Ohio. There I meet some of my brother from North Carolina State, after hanging out with these guys for the most part of the week they invited me to come to Atlanta for an N.C. State football game verse Georgia Tech on 9/25. After a little thought I decided to take them up on the offer.
So Friday afternoon I left out for Hotlanta. Five hours of driving later and loosening an hour by time change I was there. I had never been to Atlanta and it was very busy even at 10:00 p.m. There were people out walking, traffic was awful, and cops and barriers wer blocking off every possible route to my hotel. So after driving around (mostly lost and getting more frustrated) for more than 30 minutes i found an open route to the GT Conference Center and Hotel. After a good nights rest we woke to tail gate for the noon game. After enjoying some freshly cooked shrimp & grits for brunch we headed across hwy 85 to Bobby Dodd Stadium for kick off.

After N.C. State whipped up on Georgia Tech we headed back to the hotel for showers and a little rest. We then headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings to catch dinner and the Mississippi State game verse Georgia. The Georgia fans did not have much to say as I cheered on the Maroon and White. I returned from the big city on Sunday morning and am glad to be back in the real BullDawg country!

MSU v. Auburn
Well, Mississippi State made a great effort Thursday night against the Tigers or War Eagles or what ever they like to be called. It was a fun exciting atmosphere in the stadium thanks to the seconded largest HD jumbo tron in college football. The sell out crowd was ready to see what the bulldogs were really made of, after their easy victory over Memphis. However the Dawgs were just unable to overcome the missed opportunities on offense and defense.

I have a student worker position with the athletic department here at MSU, it is a lot of fun. I am pumped about Football season and the game coming up this weekend against Memphis. I am also the President of FarmHouse Fraternity, im sure you will be hearing more about this experience in my blog.
